I am the Founder and Lead Developer at Obsidian Valley Studios. My main focus is gameplay design and programming but I also dabble in modeling, animation, engine programming, and really just doing whatever needs to get done in order to make our games reality. I created the studio in 2018 to explore Game Development without the constraints of the typical AAA game development job. That sense of freedom in creativity is the type of culture I want to help cultivate in the industry and I'm excited to see where that can take us. Maintaining a healthy work/life balance is incredibly important so outside of game dev some of my interests include rock climbing, disc golf, bowling, hiking, having massive bonfires, drinking coffee and tea, and tasting new craft beers. Spending time with my family and friends is very important to me and I love going on adventures and trying new things.
